Be Brave, Keep On.

Recently, I learned that a tiger averages 3 kills out of every 10 attempts at a kill.

Then, I thought about how that’s not great odds for a creature who is built for killing. And then, I thought about how we, as humans have such a hard time with failure. When we miss the mark, or screw up, or make a mistake. We totally freak out and beat ourselves up and sometimes we quit.

Tigers don’t do that, right?
They screw up and fail to do what they were put on this earth to do, 7 times out of 10.
But they keep on.
They maintain their tiger-ness even though, we could say, that they suck at it.

We get stuck when we identify with our failures rather than with our wins. It happens so often. We get all obsessed with the times we miss, and completely disregard the times we hit it perfectly.

So, here’s an invitation:

Be a tiger.

Be willing to fail.

You know who you are, how you are built, what you are meant to do.

Be brave, keep on.

Roar.
