My Top 5 Tools for Self-Care

You are your daily habits. What you do everyday is what creates your well-being. Here are 5 of my favorite tools for taking care of my body, my heart, and my energy.

  1. Essential Oil Diffuser.

    I use this all day, everyday. Essential oils work directly with our limbic system to support our emotional and energetic well being. They can help to anchor a new and healthier emotion, and they can help to immediately shift our emotions when we get stuck in difficult ones. I use it in the morning to wake me up, focus my attention on work, and to inspire my creativity. I use at night to help my kids and I wind down after a long day. 2. Dry Brush.

Put a few drops of grapefruit (to stimulate your metabolism) and pink pepper (to support cellular regeneration) essential oils on the brush (or use it dry) and brush your skin in vigorous upward strokes. start at your feet, and brush your entire body towards the heart. Do this before you get in the shower each morning. Its invigorating, and supports the flow of blood and lymph in your body. it makes your skin glow too! My favorite dry brush:

3. Meditation Cushion

I love love love my meditation cushion. Its beautiful and inviting. Every morning, I sit and I listen and pray. I set intentions to consciously create my most beautiful life. I ask spirit to help me serve better.

4. Tongue Scraper

Get rid of the junk on your tongue. Scraping your tongue in addition to brushing your teeth, helps to get rid of bacteria, and keeps your mouth healthy.

5. Neti Pot

The neti pot is great for allergies, colds, and the flu. its a natural and healthy way to reduce inflammation in the sinuses and to relieve stuffy and runny noses. You can add sea salt and a drop of eucalyptus oil diluted in a few drops of olive oil.
