Join us for an evening of macramé, while we sip on ceremonial grade Cacao to boost creativity. Fiber artist, Angela Boltz, will teach a variety of essential knotting techniques and lead us through a demonstration to create a beautiful layered Macramé Feather Wall Hanging. Marni Sclaroff will lead you through guided meditations and discussion to awaken and inspire your creative channels. Students will leave with a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted design and the knowledge to use as a springboard for further creative play.
"Creating fiber art is one of my most cherished slow living rituals. I've fallen in love with the process of working patiently with my hands, taking each moment as it comes, and watching my visions come to life. Mostly, it's for me. It keeps my mind easy, my body grounded, and my spirit fulfilled. Sharing it with you, through custom work and learning, is the juice that flows from here. "
Angela Boltz is a seasoned women's wellness teacher, fiber artist, event producer/facilitator, and lifestyle blogger. The catalyst for her beautiful lifestyle blog Barefoot Because is her desire to inspire connected living ~ with ourselves, each other, and nature's rhythms. Her classes are extensions of her own wellness practice ~ slow living rituals that allow her the joys creating with her hands and gathering community in celebration. The common thread that weaves it way through her work is a heartfelt message to pause, as often as possible, within the action of our lives. To find a richness in life, by taking the slower more scenic route, towards our dreams.
